Shelly Ceglar

Shelly Ceglar is a member of the White Earth Ojibwe, Misiziibi band who currently works as a K-12 Media Specialist for Mt. Iron-Buhl Public Schools. She also created and teaches online high school Ojibwe language classes through MSC Online. Shelly studied and taught Ojibwemowin at Mesabi Range College and The College of St. Scholastica.  She co-created the computer tutorial CD: Inashke! Ojibwemowin with CIS professor, Tom Gibbons and with guidance and voice from White Earth elder, Eliza Jourdain.  The CD is available from CSS. The Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission publishes Shelly's Zaasijiwan (It ripples) column in their Mazinaigan. It is also a full page newspaper tutorial with language lessons and puzzles.
