Judy Toppings Collection

Judy Toppings is a member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe Indians.  She originally served as a teacher of Industrial Arts and after learning from her elders, ultimately taught the Ojibwe language, culture and history.

Judy credits Rita Kalk, a fluent speaker who helped work on a MN Ojibwe language dictionary, Earl Nyholm, former BSU professor, Marlene Stately (Red Lake), Betty Kegg, and Rick Gresczyk who assisted her in not only learning the language, but sharing their knowledge with others.
